United Machines® Heavy Duty Washer/Extractors were designed to smoothly integrate into various plant layouts. These machines offer the largest processing capability in the industry to conserve the floor space. This is significant as operators look to maximize their productivity in their existing facilities. These type of washer extractors are designed and engineered for ease of use, space allocation limitation concerns and ergonomics. A unique feature to these machines is that the suspension has been redesigned to reduce the washer/extractor’s profile and to provide a reduction in vibration.

 

United Machines®’s Heavy Duty range is available with forward (unloading) & backward (loading). The integral system allows the machine to tilt 18° backwards and 18° forwards, for easy loading and unloading. The bigger cylinder perforations provide better wash quality with the mix of clothes/linen, water, chemistry & mechanical action.

 

United Machines®’s Heavy Duty Washer extractors are designed to achieve 300 G of G force to remove more water consistently from each load, resulting in shorter drying time.

1.COMPUTER CONTROLLER

Our 6th generation computer Controller is specially designed for the control of the automatic dry-cleaning machines. It features stability and reliability in operation. Various parameters integrated in the computer, which can be setup by the factory. The large screen of the dot matrix LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) is equipped with a man-machine conversation in English to display immediate messages about the working status of the machine. The work status of all buttons shown by LED is helpful to monitor and control the machine running at the optimal status.

The drum is the central part of the machine and has the basket into which the garments are placed. The basket rotates on its own axle, supported by ball bearings. The basket rotation is supplied by a multi pole motor and is driven by a belt transmission system, with a protective cover.

The base tank is divided into three sections. Two are called the Working Tanks and the other the Reserve Tank or Rinsing Tank. All tanks are fully automatic and self-cleaning. They are also fitted with large sight glasses. The first and the second are connected to the filter and are used for cleaning. The reserve tank contains the solvent recovered from distillation. It may be used for rinsing.

The loading door is large and has been given pneumatically controlled a safety lock system. The door opening handle is blocked by a pneumatic device and a special micro switch which will not allow the machine to run if the door is not closed properly. It prevents opening the door before end of the cycle, allowing all residual solvent vapour completely removed from the garments. The large and wide opening door angle eases the loading & unloading of clothes.
All the components contact with solvent such as Basket, Basket housing, Air channel, Filter, Button trap, Water separators, Still, and Solvent Tanks are all made of SS304. Solvent pipeline material is optional in stainless steel.

Double filtration system consists of one ecological filter and one newly designed and patented active carbon filter which does not need to be cleaned with dry cleaning filtration powder and carbon powder. It achieves free maintenance for filter, high cleanness, and less running cost. Besides, it brings unparalleled effect for cleaning the light colour garment.

Active Carbon Absorber that reduces the residues of Perc inside the drum at the end of the drying cycle. This system makes possible that the concentration of solvent gases is under 300 PPM level at the time of opening the door.

The drying tunnel is highly effective and is made up of several different components which go together to dry the garments in the basket.

 

1) AIR FILTER

Retains any fluff which comes away from the garments.

 
2) VENTILATOR

Determines the movement of the air.

 
3) EVAPORATOR

A cold exchanger from the refrigerator condenses solvent during drying

 
4) HEAT PUMP

Partially heats the air using ‘free’ heat produced by the refrigerator.

 
5) HEATING BATTERY

Completes the air heating.

 
6) DRY CONTROL (Optional)

Automatically determines the drying time in relation to the type and quantity of the garments to be dried.

The machine is equipped with the most advanced dual refrigeration system with Freon gas and it achieves adjustable solvent temperature to meet the dry-cleaning requirements of leather and other fabrics of garment.

The function of the still is to regenerate solvent by removing impurities which have mixed in during the various cleaning cycles. It consists of a container with a double layered sloping base forming the heating surface which boils the solvent. The still is heated by steam which is either taken from an external boiler or from an electrically heated mini boiler built into the still itself.
